The Loft is a free, year-round resource center for families impacted by childhood and adolescent cancer. Families can join drop-in hours, relax in the parent-only lounge, connect in our intentional community spaces, and access our behavioral health services - all free of charge.
Located within 12 minutes of both major children’s hospitals, The Loft facilitates hope, joy, and connection - so kids can be kids again and families can heal together.

You are welcome here - who you are, how you are. Join us for drop-in hours or one of our dedicated programs. We hope to see you soon!

The Loft is more than a building - it’s a place where families can exhale, connect, and find joy in the midst of a challenging journey.
But like every Ukandu program, it can only come to life through the compassion and dedication of our volunteers. From the moment a family walks through the door, it’s our volunteers who make them feel welcome, who listen, laugh, and create space for community.

The Loft is a 22,000-square-foot community space for families battling childhood cancer. With daily drop-in hours, intentional community spaces, and behavioral health services, there is something for every member of the family from the moment of diagnosis through treatment and well beyond.
The Loft includes a parent-only lounge, teen room, two-story rock wall, sports simulator bay, modular obstacle course, multimedia room, arts-and-crafts room, and more. Drop in between appointments, after school, or whenever you need an extra dose of hope, joy, and connection.
