Sites

UKANDU Missions in our 19th year still only offers a few sites per year.  We believe our efforts will be manifested best if we choose a few sites at a time to focus in on and accomplish our goals quickly and then move on to the next need. Please read below to find out about our current mission sites.  Lord willing one of them will fit into your group’s mission and ministry dream/goal.

Mexico

El Carmen (Prayer Mountian)

Prayer Mountain is the site, near El Carmen, where we are working alongside a Mexican Christian ministry, Calvary Ministries, to help build orphanages.   This has been one of our mission sites since the summer of 1998, with huge plans of 9 homes, a medical clinic and possible school for the future.  To date, we have completed the first orphanage/Welcome Center, which is a two story 10,000 square foot unit that also houses our site administrators.  The second home is in the foundation stage and with your help we can have it open within a year or two.  (Travel:  Van, Bus and/or Air)

San Rafael (Mission Station to Arteaga)

San Rafael is at the heart of our very Mission and Ministry roots.  Our first group ever entered the city of San Rafael back in 1990 and helped Pastor Juan Cortez and his family to build a church and youth center. Pastor Juan is instrumental in reaching out to other mission sites throughout Mexico with groups that he sponsors from this dynamic Ministry. Recently, in keeping with this going forth of the gospel, Pastor Juan has started the planting of a church about 30 minutes from San Rafael in Arteaga.  Groups looking for hard foundation work, as well as uplifting outreach events, need to come to experience the magnificent Seirra Madres. Xilitla

Our newest exciting site is located in the mountains of the state of San Luis Potosi, between San Miguel de Allende and Tampico.  This small vibrant city is eager to build an orphanage to support children from all around the region.  Erica, our site coordinator, with tremendous support from the local government, will have your group work side by side with locals filled with boundless energy to complete this project.  (Travel: Air)

Belize

San Ignacio / Belmopan

San Ignacio is a beautiful jungle city with a dynamic Ministry to reach every village with the Good News.  Starr, our site coordinator, will have your group on the move building new churches and reaching out to remote communities with help and ministry.  (Travel: Air)
